What do you think of it? I watched a few episodes on TV and thought it was a really good anime. I like it alot better than say Trininty Blood or Samuri 7 which are other networked aired amines.

Plus they reference famous bands like The Beatles. And Kurt Kobain makes a cameo in the ending credits of one episode. Both good things in my books.

I thought BECK: Mongolian Chop Squad, the anime was a really good anime. I enjoyed it from start to finish and am reading the manga to see how the story really ends.

I think in terms of musical based anime beck does a good job. Although it's main theme is music and people trying to create a successful band, they still maintain a good amount of suspence and drama in the series through the characters different interactions in their lives. Also, the backstories to some of the characters was interesting to see too.

The music used for the anime also was quite nice. Although much was sung in English and the pronunciations weren't perfect, they were still good enough to understand and enjoy.

And as you mentioned they had cameos and appearances of real life musicians and their music and that's really good, gives the anime a more realistic feel to it.

Think it's definatly an anime worth trying out.
