There are times that it is hard because of the way society treats us, but no, it's not depressing. Actually, the statistics for mental health show that lgbt are as mentally healthy as straights. The suicide rate, however, is higher because of the cruelty of some families that don't want them.

No-- it's not at all depressing! I think If I were in the closet, I would find a closeted life ultra depressing, though.
I understand my role as a gay man within my community and my family, and I love this life. But I do have it good: nice career, great husband of 15 years, and both of us have very involved and loving families.

I am perfectly happy being who God made me.

It is more sad than depressing when bigoted hypocrites defame LGBT people just for being who they are created to be. We are praying for them, because we know that Jesus Loves Them no matter how hate-ridden they may be.

No. I love it. I can appreciate both sexes without worrying that someone's going to accuse me of being gay, 'cause I am!

No, I'm not depressed at all about my sexual orientation. I do not feel ashamed or that something is wrong with me.
