I just bought twilight princess yesterday and today I got all the way to where i walk into faron woods and it's twilight everywhere. My cousin told me that i forgot a heart and it's in faron woods. Will it still be there or is that heart lost forever since i cant go back to the normal realm?

Lol its fine. You'll turn back into a human after you collect the tears of light from the bugs in your realm. Then you can go back and get it.

Later in the game, you are allowed back into the normal realm, as soon as you get a little farther, and get rid of the twilight.

The heart piece will always be there, don't worry. All major items will be in the same place until you obtain them.
