The gates to heaven, often also called "the pearly gates". According to some people's beliefs, the souls of the dead have to go through this gates, but will only be granted entry if the person lead a good life. Sinners will be turned away and sent to hell.

Its like coming up to a huge gate with a garden, and the gate guard is Phoebus and his horse(s) are by the near by springs. It's a beautiful scene, it's like a tease, because the person who is coming up to the gate doesn't know whether they will get in or not, and if they were bad...they'd regret all the stupid **** they did because they want to get into this beautiful place really really bad!

gate's aside from the one's here on earth are the invention of the imagination some say that it is a gate that is pearly white and guarded by a gate keeper then again it may be simply crossing over from life to eternity and the gate is merely a literary or imagined object
