1) When parking regular: How do I tell the distance between the car and the line (in front) without looking out my side windows?
2) When parallel parking: Where do I start? When do I turn the wheel. How much?... 9basically I don't know how to parallel park period.

The obvious answer is "practice, practice, practice!", but let's look for another answer.
My friend had a difficult time looking over the steering wheel of my car (Crown Victoria), so I affixed a couple of small wooden dowels about 1/2 of an inch in diameter to the corners of the bumpers where she could see the tops of them. Now after that, she was able to accuratly see where the front, back and sides of the car were in relation to where the space she selected to park. Furthermore, it allowed her to more accurately gauge how far in front of her was the next car, and for backing out of a parking space to gauge the distance between her and the one behind her.

Hope it helps

I cant remember exactly the method for parallel parking, but it's something like this: Get pretty close to the poles, it helps, although you wouldnt think it does.I don't know what country you're in, so Im not using left and right, but if the poles are on the passenger side, stop just ahead of the poles. Reverse SLOWLY and when the closest pole is about about a third of the way through your back side mirror start turning your wheel hard and fast towards the pole. the quicker you do it the better, but remember to keep the car moving really slowly. The slower you move the more time to complete the move. Go as close to the pavement as you can without hitting it, then counter steer, but not too hard until you're sure the front of your car won't hit the front poles. Gentle counter steering heye k?Ok, then concerntrate on the front of your car. Watch it until it's past the front outside pole, then turn your wheel hard and fast away from the pavement . When you think you're in, straighten your wheel and go back as far as you can without hitting the pole. leave about 0.5m away form the back pole. It leaves more space to get out of the parking again. This is the hardest side. master this and then you should have enough confidence and 'know how' to try form the other side. But try get an instructor, they'll give you the correct methods and wil help you out a lot!And good luck!!!

Alright sweety this is what you do. I remember taking my exam and I cheated. When the examiner gets in the car they will run you through the motions, seatbelt, mirrors, etc. Before the examiner gets in the car move your passenger side mirror all the way down, so its facing the pavement and you can almost see the rear tire on the passenger side. Leave it that way the entire time you take your exam, just use your other mirrors. The examiner can't really look at your mirror and tell if its aligned for you while in the passenger seat so they will hardly notice. Now use that mirror as a cheating tool and just align the passenger side of your car to the line or against the curb when parallel parking. If the passenger side is lined up then the entire car will be. (their kind of attached lol)
Also dont forget to keep both hands on the wheel at all times at 10 and 2. I know its corny and no one drives that way but thats one the big things they are looking for.
And most important! Do not act nervous or scared and do not stress out. Act like you have done this a thousand times and you are perfectly comfortable behind the wheel of a car. They are accessing you and your ability to SAFELY operate a motor vehicle. Even if you screw the parallel parking, if you are confident and at ease you'll be just fine. If you are scared, nervous, and seem like you don't know what you are doing, they will think twice about passing you. Just relax, this is a fun and exciting time in your life. Enjoy it!
Hope this helps. Good luck.

You obviously need more driving practice, nobody can tell you what you have to do, unless they are there with you and guiding you.
