julie mows lawns. Each day the lawnmower uses o.5 pints of oil and 1.5 galons of gas. Julie has 3 pints of oil and 12 gallons of gas.
How many days can she mow lawns without buying more supplies?

The limiting factor is the amount of oil which will last 6 days. There will still be 3 gallons of gas left over

IF SHE USES .5 PINTS/DAY, THEN 3 PINTS OF OIL WILL
LAST 6 DAYS. THE GAS WOULD LAST 8 DAYS BUT SHE
WOULD BE OUT OF OIL AFTER 6 DAYS.

Oil 1/2 x = 3
X = 6 days

Gas 1.5 X = 12
X = 8

six days for oil/ 8 days for fuel
