And how come you can't delete yourself from someone's network if you don't want to be on there?

When you edit your profile, I believe there are options to check if you choose not to participate in networks.

lt's really up to the person if he/she wants to continue communicating with them.
Yes, we can't delete ourselves if we've been chosen but we have the option to respond or not.

I guess it is because they or you...who ever adds a contact.
is because they find you q and a's interesting.That is about all I know about it.
