I burned one glass-encased candle(half red and half blk) to get rid of bad habits and one white glass-encased candle for protection and healing.
The white one went out by itself within fifteen minutes of me
lighting it.Then the red/blk candle went out too just thirty minutes later.
What does this mean? Is there anything I can do to help this
situation?
Should I throw out the candle or ??

Candles encased in any kind of glass container have a habit of going out because they use up the oxygen in the confined space. A free standing candle is much better. There are some very good direction just above as the reason for the flame out is now explained.

Candle burning is one of most simple forms of magic. It can be performed most anywhere and candles are really easy to purchase. The basic principles are to concentrate, visualize and focusing (willpower) on the candle as a symbol. Basic Preparations

To start you should cleanse your space, relax have a positive state of mind. Choose new, unused candles, and do not use the ones you choose for any other purpose.

Make sure your space is quiet, except if you want to use soft music. It's a good thing not to eat or engage in sexual activity before any magic ritual. A "cleansing" bath is also a good thing before.Give the candle some of your personal vibrations. This will give the wax your thoughts, desires and life-force. You can also use an essential oil on the candle. The energy from your hands will pass into the wax. Always start rubbing the oil from the top to the bottom when anointing a candle. Then go from bottom up to the center of the candle. While you are oiling the candle think about what you want to accomplish. Visualize success and see your desires accomplished.

Encased candles have a very bad habit of burning unevenly or going out without warning. This is due to the fact that air can sometimes have a hard time flowing down into the container to allow the flame to continue to exist. Whenever I preform candle magic I use small tapers in holders so that the energy and air can flow freely for my work. If you want the candle to burn for a longer time, leave the candle in a freezer for a few hours first. Another thing that is important in candle magic is to "dress" the candle, either by anointing it in some oil (either an essential oil for your purposes or a general oil to personalize it) or by inscribing the candle with either words or symbols of your desired results.
