1. 4n3-20n2-9n+45

This can be factored by grouping

Factor 4n^2 from the left two terms

Factor -9 from the right two terms

4n^2(n - 5) -9(n - 5)

(4n^2 - 9)(n - 5)

The first binomial is a difference of squares

(2n + 3)(2n - 3)(n - 5)

2. g4+6g3+9g2-3g2h-18gh-27h

Grouping

g^2(g^2 + 6g + 9) -3h(g^2 + 6g + 9)

(g^2 - 3h)(g^2 + 6g + 9)

Factor the trinomial

(g^2 - 3h)(g + 3)(g + 3)

1) 4n^2 (n - 5) - 9 (n - 5)
(4n^2 - 9)(n-5)
(2n + 30(2n - 3) (n - 5)

2) g^2 (g^2 + 6g + 9) -3h (g^2 + 6g + 9)

(g^2 + 6g + 9)((g^2 - 3h)

(g + 3)(g+3)(g^2 - 3h)
