Stress can cause you to delay ovulation (or not even ovulate at all) which will bump your period back. I suggest reading the book "Taking Charge of Your Fertility" to help dispell some of the period myths that seem to be plaguing your mind right now (like that every woman has a period every month, and if they don't they're pregnant.)

Depending on the last time you had sex, you should be able to get a positive pregnancy test (if you truly are pregnant) within 7-10 days of intercourse. With this pregnancy, I ovulated on day 19 of my cycle, and dtd with dh on day 18 and day 20. I got my positive pregnancy test on day 28 (so 8-10 days after dtd.) If you're within that window, try testing again in 2 days, if not, I don't think you're pregnant. (There are other reasons that your 19 month old could be clingy and nausea in the morning doesn't really mean anything except maybe that you're hungry.)

Yes stress is something that can make you lose your period.... i was stress because i lost my job and had a family to support.... (my hubby and i were the only one working to support my mom and my 15 year old sister when my father past away, plus we had a infant) i lost my period for three months, i was so scared i was pregnant again... turns out to be stress only... doctors said so.... after that period, i had regular periods..... dont stress too much.... your baby need you to be strong at this time... good luck

I've missed a period due to stress. It came back normal time the following month.

I went for 9 months without a period...then bled for 7 months straight due to stress. It's absolutely possible.
