I'm not the most patriotic person floating around America, haha. But I must say, although a lot of this may sound completely cliche', there is a definite sense of freedom in America. You can feel it once you've been away and then come back...It is easy to take it for granted and very hard to notice if you have never left the country. But stateside there is a true spirit of independence and pride, and although Americans forget it time and time again they are living and working in a country that should be looked at with awe occasionally. But that do-it-yourself American attitude seems to have filtered down to every aspect of American life--from the strong mistrust of government, suspicion of law enforcement, and hard working people. In spite of all of its flaws America still is (in my book) one of the greatest countries on the planet and I wouldn't want to live anywhere else....Now please excuse the cheesy tone of this answer but in all honesty, I'm completely serious....Now, I have to go to work. bye.

Like other countries, the daily grind of everyday life like working and paying bills is probably not much different than you already experience. Being such a large and varied country does give many alternatives for vacation ideas. The mountains are beautiful, the beaches are great, NYC is awesome. There are millions of acres across the country of public lands for all to enjoy.
Wherever you are in America, something exciting to do can be found but if you are easily bored in England, you may also be easily bored anywhere you live.

I love the fact that no matter where I go and visit, I can always come back home. I like the freedoms I have and the variety of people. I love being the birthplace of jazz, rock n roll, blues & R&B. Although the history is short and not always great, I still wouldn't give up my citizenship for anyone's country. It has its problems but its still a great place. A true melting pot.

Bush made the U.S. look bad.People like him have screwed the working class.Sent our jobs overseas, and now kissing up to South America for cheap alcohol to fuel our cars. They won't let our farmers raise corn to make it.And cheap Beef too.I'd give any thing to see England.
Our country is ruled by the Rich and Greedy.

There's a wide variety of people, scenery, etc. No reason to be bored, unless you want to be bored.

America is rapidly changing into a fascist state, so it is currently very exciting to watch the confusion and fear.

American is an awful, awful, patriarchal, racist, screwed-up, uneducated, poverty ridden (they'll try to hide it) hell-hole of a country.
