People are dumb and ignorant. As long as you two are happy, that is all that matters. Good luck!

FRANCINE IS A LOSER. Don't listen to her IGNORANT RACIST VIEWS. I looked at her profile and she bags on every race except her own. I think racist people are the trashy ones who run with their tale between their legs. Look at this chick, so harsh to hurt others, yet if she's so tough, why doesn't she have her email or instant IM available? I bet she doesn't even know that she's not pure white, there really is no such thing this day and age. Ignorance breeds ignorance, I pity younger generations that feel this way, I don't blame them completely, they learn from their parents and community. This girl will surely burn in hell, as well as for other racists. She, in the end, will ultimately answer to God. As for you, have your fun, be in love. I wouldn't care what others think, just be happy with yourselves.

I was inter-racially married once and had a family.
I must tell you that, society can be or will be your biggest enemy. In spite of the appear of tolerance, America is as racist as its ever been. Regardless of what you may be refusing to acknowledge; the stares, the feelings of discomfort are a indication of how people view the lifestyle that you have chosen.
Now, my relationship didn't last and in-part due to conflicts with my former wife's family.
You must be willing to accept that, everyone will not embrace your decision and that if this last beyond your youth or you chose to date inter-racially----you must be strong in your convictions as to who you choose to be with.
I never look down on mixed couple as a matter of fact--I believe that--there should be a proclamation.
Let us intermarry and inter-procreate until the is no dominant racial group!
I see hope in the beauty and promise of inter-racial couples___BE STRONG!

I guess because the only bi-racial couples they have in the media are black-white and not black-mexican. So i guess some people just havent seen this before.

I live in seattle where there are lots of Asians and many White-Asian couples, and i rarely ever see anybody starring at them. Coule this be a double standard?

I have no problem with bi-racial couples. If they love each other, and not just for their race, its fine with me.

They're ignorant.

And i doubt that people keep staring at you. because i see plenty of interracial couples where one is black and the other is white, no one stares at them; and that's less acceptable than a black/mexican couple to a large group of people. but people just walk on by, minding their own business.

I think you just wanted people to know that you're going with a mexican guy. but then again, i guess it does depend on what area you're living in. like i said, people are ignorant.

THOSE PEOPLE PROBABLY STARE AT YOU GUYS BECAUSE THEY CAN'T EXCEPT THE FACT THAT YOU GUYS ARE DIFFERENT RACES. I PERSONALLY THINK THAT THATS WRONG IN THOSE PEOPLE. THEY PROBABLY DON'T WANNA SEE YOU GUYS TOGETHER. I SEE NOTHING AT ALL WRONG WITH INTERRACIAL COUPLES. I, MYSELF PERSONALLY AM OF BLACK DESCENT BUT NOT FULL BLACK, AND I LOVE DATING HALF BLACK DUDES THAT ARE HALF OF ANOTHER RACE, WHITE DUDES, LATINO (HISPANIC) DUDES, ASIAN DUDES, OR NATIVE AMERICAN DUDES. I DON'T GO WITH FULL BLACK DUDES. AND HECK NO, I'D NEVER LOOK DOWN ON AN INTERRACIAL COUPLE. I THINK YOU SHOULD KEEP DATING OUTSIDE OF YOUR RACE.

Why do you automatically assume that they are looking at you because of race? they could be looking at you and your man for a number of reasons. Maybe they think hes cute or you are hot. Maybe you have toilet paper stuck to your shoe.
My boyf. is mexican and im white... and no one stares at us... so i dont know what you are talking about.. and who cares if ppl look at you anyway... as long as u are happy, dont waste your time worrying about other people's opinions.

No but i guess some people are just too stubborn to realize that the world is changing and were breaking racial barriers.
