What are you enthusiastic about? When your enthusiastic about something it show and carries through to those that your teaching. Don't forget to evaluate who you are teaching to and set it to the appropriate level. Try to make use of all the learning styles like tactile/kinetic, visual and auditory.

Some Sample areas that lend themselves to these would be teaching in some art form like drawing, painting, music, cooking, woodworking drama. I find a lot of art can be linked to maths, science, social studies and general life skills.

In summary find something you enjoy and help those you are presenting to get actively involved and feel they are part of the process. The more you involve the whole person the more chance learning takes place at a deeper level.

I might choose something that is very current in your age group of teaching. I taught elem and various styles of teaching beginning reading came and went, and it seemed very important to be "on top of things" just like in computers etc. so find the newest, most accepted concept and try to at least show modern knowledge. If you allow them to ask questions as if they are students during the interview, you might get a lead in to which direction they are seeking ?
