I am 14 years old and I do not like babysitting, walking pets, or selling lemonade. I don't think Kroger accepts workers below 16 either.

There are some companies that hire people to distribute fliers....not sure if they would hire a 14 year old, though. Do a web search to see if you can find one in your area.

You could also clean houses. You can make excellent money cleaning houses....but you gotta be willing to work hard. You can ask elderly people in your neighborhood or church (if you have one) if they need the help and would be willing to hire you.

While being a camp counselor (for those as young as 14, think it would be counselor-in-training/CIT) may not gross $1,000 or more a summer, it can give you valuable experience working as a team player and being a mentor to younger children. If you don't mind mowing lawns, that can be an option or asking neighbors if they would like their car washed for remuneration.

P.S. Just please get a job where you are outside of the person's house as it is safer unless you know the person well (does anyone actually every know anyone?) and feel comfortable with him or her.

Internet work, websites. HTML, anyone can do it. Design stuff. No age restrictions for that. Even simple programming is possible.
