Benefits:
easy, meet people, write what you feel in the blog, display pictures, use your choice of Avatar rather than cartoon head, easily choose own background, send and recieve messages & mail, you only do it if you want and do as much as you want.
Drawbacks:
don't see any because if you don't like it you can clear it out and close it down

well for one, you dont need to use a gray head or an avatar. you can have whatever pic you want. you can also tell a little more about yorself. and make some awesome friends. i have made tones of friends. i cant think of any drawbacks though.

Benefits: you get to say hi to your friends and they can say hi to you...
Drawbacks: you need to be very cautious of not letting freaks come in.

Well you can meet new people, get new friends, etc. My problem with it though is I don't know what to do to make mine cool. I just kinda set it up yesterday, but its pretty dang boring. Maybe thats why I only have one friend on there right now, lol

lf you want to gain friends, it's a good place to start. You can be as creative as you want since you'll be designing it yourself.
Drawback is when you don't have time to attend to it because of work. Some gave up theirs since they can't attend to the many visitors and messages posted.

I can't think of any benefits other than using your pic as your avatar instead of the funky cartoon heads....

benefit is to meet ppl and talk to friends
drawbacks are its just a gayer version of myspace so i would go with myspace instead
