leopard geckos go pale before they shed...they eat their shedded skin ...you can make a moist hide by just putting a damp paper towel under their hide or adding damp spagnum moss, they should have a moist hide and a dry hide so they can choose whats best for them... your temps are ok ... my geckos sleep pretty much all the time.
congrats on getting a gecko, they make good pets

Yes build a moist hide. It help them when they shed. You also need a uv light. They get certain nutrients from the lighting. It could get a calcium defiency if it goes that long without the uv lighting. It could be no eating because of it being in new surroundings. The are nocturnal so you might not see it play or come out all that much.

Well, first of Leopard Geckos are nocturnal. This means that they sleep in the daytime, so of course it is going to be somewhat sluggish. I would put in some damp moss or a wet cloth (make sure it is approved by a vet). The damp moss you can get in about any pet store. They usually sell it by the hermit crabs being that they use it too. Hope this has helped ^_^

It could be that the gecko is going shed so it will either be sluggish or it will be aggresive, maybe you should thoink of getting a UVB light as an extra heat source

yes you need a damp hide and yes it will be sluggish because it is nocturnal. i would suggest feeding it at night and buy a black light to watch it. i just recently got a leopard gecko and its probably pale because of its morph(its coloring) mine is pale also so it probably has a ghost morph.

awww!!! congrats!!! don't worry, your gecko is getting ready to shed his skin. he'll peel off his skin just like ours does with a sunburn. he'll then eat it (they're very tidy) and he'll be bright again after he's done. the skin provides calcium for him. keep the rocks in there, he'll use them to break the old skin. it's very interesting to watch!!! he'll do this about once or twice a month (getting less frequent as he gets bigger)...congrats, once again!!!

You should definitely get a UVB light. He's probably getting ready to shed.
