I have a few hundred albums from the 60's and 70's standing on some shelves. I need the room. What can I store them in?

i would use milk crates but have you thought about buying some of the albums hangers, you can buy them at target and making one of your walls all albums. Better yet if your crafty make them, some plagkie glass and screws. I see lps not only as a great source of music but also as a form of art. Good luck

I suggest stacked in a cool dry place. That way
the albums will not warp. If it is humid, the jackets
and the cardboard record holder will shrink and
the records will probably warp. If you want to
spend the bread, try to find onion-skin(trade term)
sleeves and they protect the vinyl LP's a little
better. Peace.

Back in the old days, everyone used those plastic milk crates. I still have a few.

Definately milk crates, and if you need the room, put them in your basement (if you have one and it's dry enough)!

I have a friend who has THOUSANDS of LP's, and he has dedicated his den for storing them.

This sounds weird I know but we have ours in milk crates. They are the perfect size and you can stack them.

I ,too, have many. You should store them in cardboard or paper, in a dry place.
