Liquid methanol (CH3OH) is used as an alternative fuel in truck engines. An industrial method for preparing it uses the catalytic hydrogenation of carbon monoxide.
CO(g) + 2 H2(g) ====> CH3OH(l)

How much heat (in kJ) is released when 10.4 L of CO at 85C and 183 kPa reacts with 17.5 L of H2 at 75C and 768 torr?

You are missing the Heat of Reaction per mole.

If you can get that, convert the gas quantities to STP using the gas laws and dtermine how many moles of reactants you have. Then multiply by the heat of reaction to get the KJ.

If I recall, this process was developed by Monsanto Co. You might get the reaction data by researching it that way, if not otherwise availalble
