I read a news item about Ann Coulter on Yahoo news. I knew what it would say before clicking the link. She apparently has commited the social blunder of ridiculing the homosexuals again.
Yahoo has ad about a new TV show called "The Whitest Kids in the World." One was a dressed as Abraham Lincoln and the other dressed as Satan. Sorry, I really didn't look at the other three.
Why don't they have a new televison program called "The Blackest Kids in the World" with Nelson Mandella, Martin Luther King, and Satan.
It is a sick society we live in. Makes joining the KKK look attrative.

Political and cultural sensitivity started in the late 60's and early 70's. Back then it was the "in" thing to do. Now it has reached ridiculous and outrageous proportions.
People of the same race are calling each other "racists", just because they are of different ethnic groups. One of the most racist Americans in history is being hailed as a black civil rights leader. Almost everyone of European Caucasian descent is held suspect for some wrong either he or his remote ancestor allegedly did in the past. What the accusers don't realize is that the blame belongs to all the races, not just the white segment of the Caucasian one.
In the USA, we are all equal and have equal rights and no one is above the law of the land no matter how high or low his position or what his color, ethnic group, religion, nationality, etc. We have one law for every one. We should respect every one.
We have freedom of speech and should not be afraid of being "labeled" something just because we express our opinion. Where have our constitutional rights gone?
I believe in diplomacy and mutual respect, but this is a two way street. We can not move toward a better future by always staring at the glaring injustices of past wrongs. We only have the present to work with. We need to form alliances and not make more divisions where they need not be.

What most people don't realize is that Ann Coulter was not making fun of gays. Nor was she making fun of John Edwards (well, okay maybe a little). She was making fun of the recent case of "Grey's Anatomy" Isaiah Washington allegedly calling T.R. Knight the f-word that refers to gays, and that he was essentially forced to go into therapy over it.

She messed up the joke, but hey, at least she didn't mess up a "joke" about how our troops are failures and idiots as Jean Francois Kerry did.

Ann Coulter is right , Ted Kennedy walks away from a dead girl with a slap on the wrist but it's a crime to be Republican . I am still waiting to find out what classified documents Sandy Burger stole for the Clinton's ; and WHY he was allowed to walk away from that ?? John Kerry works with the enemy during the Vietnam War and becomes a senator WHILE he is still being honored in a North Vietnamese War Remnants museum for HELPING THEM WIN THE WAR AGAINST THE U.S. ????????????????????? And this man was observed by the FBI debating whether or not to kill U.S. senators who were supporting the Viet Nam War - yet he runs for President of the U.S. Thank God he lost .
Bill Clinton commits sexual assaults on women and Hillary brands them as sluts ; a Clinton contributors. Our nation and our kids had to hear about a president who sexually assaults women all over the country and lied about it under oath-but two adult men ,(Gingrich & Giuliani) who had consenting relationships during trouble in the marriage send the moral left to get out the hang-man's noose . Their wives can give them hell but we didn't marry them & they didn't assault a soul - so it's not our concern . That doesn't mean we condone it - but it's time the Republican Party stand up to these politically correct bullies and not take it anymore . The Westboro baptist Church can intrude on a heroes funeral and harass the grieving family of a soldier who died for his or her country - with no repercussion - but a five year old is thrown out of school for a show of affection ? Stop voting for the gestapo democrats . I did . Enough's enough already .

Yes it is a sick society. If your going to join a white
co-defence group shop around for one with out fanatical religious beliefs. Those beliefs hamper combat effectiveness and cause groups to do strategic and tactically stupid acts.

I worked at a high school where there was a Black students union, m.e.c.h.a. (for Hispanics), and when a group of students asked to start an Irish club they were told it would be racist. Never could figure that one out.

Ummm.... no - I have not seen nearly ENOUGH political politeness....

You don't need to be "PC" unless you are trying to be a politician... no one is forcing you....

But if you want to get along with people then it is a good idea.

I mean really - if you want to go in the other direction - be my guest... everyone will just think of you as an insensitive jerk...

I'm so sick of it. If you are white, then it is okay to make fun of us. I'm sick of the double standard.
