Put some water in a pan on the stove....boil up some cinnamon sticks....yummy....does color the pot slightly though. I purchased something recently from Pier one imports...its fantastic.... its called a 'reed difuser'....reeds in oil in a nice jar....turn the reeds over every couple of days..lasts for about 6 months.... all kinds of different colours and scents..... Good luck...

I like to take empty soap boxes and put them in drawers. Also I stuff dryer sheets in the couch cushions. But for an air scent I would go with candles or potpourri. Or you could use lavender essence. I like the smell of some plants so I have rosemary. I can smell it as soon as I walk in the room. Also, you could put baby powder in your vacuum cleaner bag. A few ideas, that's all I can thin of right now.

You could use a scented or unscented candle to eliminate the odor. Also Bath and Body Works has air fresheners that smell really good, I dont think they smell artificial.

Hi, I use eucalyptus oil. If you have screens, just use a tissue and wipe it over them, that way, when the breeze comes in it will blow the smell of eucalyptus through out the house. It also last for ages. Another is vanilla essence that you cook with. Both of these are cheap, natural and better for the environment, they will also be alot cheaper than diffusers, or aromatic machines. Good Luck!

You can purchase an air purifier. I just purchased one for my home and it smells like a crisp fall day! I also love the smell of Febreeze. It gets rid of the bacteria that causes odors.

At night get some small bowls of ammonia and set them in different rooms....It gets rid of all smells! It works, and dont worry, it does not make your house smell like ammonia.

I open the windows in a morning when I get up and then you get the fresh air blowing through the house.
This is both chemical free and and evidently friendly.
I also have freshly cut flowers and you can buy pot pouri (dried flowers) and have this in dishes around your home
