Mountains are a good example. Here in California, we have the coast range that runs along the Pacific coast and the Sierra Nevadas that run along the eastern state border. Nice examples. Study some plate tectonics. When I was in high school, it was considered a coincidence that the coasts of South America and Africa look like they were originally part of a single piece. We know a lot more now.
