My midwife had told me that sex and also stimulating the nipples can help to induce. Also walking is good.....not to far from your home though. Carry a cell phone too. LOL

Yes it can! I just had a baby back in November, of course i was two weeks past due and the doctor said that having sex would help strip the membranes(which keep the water from breaking) and get things moving. I ended up being induced but hey the sex was nice. I had better sex when I was pregnant than when I'm not. So go ahead give it a try, ain't got anything to lose because u can't hurt the baby. Also after the baby arrives you will wish you and your husband had more itimate time together anyways....trust me!!! GOOD LUCK

Sex can put you into labor. At this stage your uterus is really sensitive as it is sofening and preparing for the big day!! If you want to go into labor, keep having sex, if it is to uncomfortable and painful then I would put it off untill baby arrives. The discharge very well could be semen, it can also be your mucus plug dislodging (If it is, dont worry, completly normal!) There are lots of other things you can do to arouse eachother....get creative, but avoid the painful stuff! You are almost there! Good luck!

Yes I have heard that it will help with labor, it is the seamen that helps bring it on..so like the rest of the crowd says...get you sex on..by the way, don't know where these other people are getting 42 weeks, it's only 40.

Yes big time...sex and walking helps bring on labor very well.it helped with both my pregnancies..and actually helps the labor and makes it much easier..good luck

The doctor that my wife and I go to said that sex can indeed induce labor.

The body releases the hormone Oxytocin when you get sexually aroused. This same hormone also induces labor contractions.

Ahhh pregnancies should last 42 weeks - why would you want to jumpstart labor and endanger the health of your baby?

no it doesn't pregnancy has to be 42 weeks in till you have your baby so just do sex if you want to but it wont jump start your labor and don't put your baby's health indenger.
