I want to go to the Red Hot Chili Peppers gig in April and need to know how far it is from Auckland Airport!

I have never been there, but my friend Chris told me a lot about the place. Basically it's a long thin urban are with sea at both sides and over a million people live there.
He mentioned that there is not a very good bus or train service so you will probably need to use a taxi.
The airport is 21 KM from the city centre (according to wikipedia) and the area is on the edge of the Central Business District (according to its own website). So I guess it will be about 20KM or so.
