It depends alot on what you are looking for in a mail program. If you are looking for all the bells and whistles then O/E may not be the best for you. An alternate mail on the web that is similar is Yahoo! Mail which is available from any computer. Another similar product with ALL the bells and whistles is Incredmail which is rich text, lots of stationary options and smileys, to boot!

Your question isn't very clear. You don't *have* to use Outlook Express to read your email, you can read it on-line through a web interface or using another email application such as Mozilla Thunderbird. Using an email application has the benefit of being able to download emails from several accounts into one place for you to read and respond.

i am confused of what you're asking but anyhow yahoo webmail has a new interface, the yahoo beta...it looks like an outlook page, if you set-up acct in outlook express you must set delivery option to leave a mssge copy on the server, in that way you can access your mails on any computer or remotely

I use mine every day! Its my main mail! You simply have to be smart enough to know how to use ANY email service! I have a very small list of people who know it! Its personal and I dont use it on the web! Its perfect for close family and friends. I use a secondary, web based email account for all else! This keeps the BS outta my primary.
