I need help on a project!!?

Question

SCENERIO: You will assume the role of a museum curator who has been charged with creating an exhibit on historical events in which people had to face adversity. Your task is to find out what characteristics are common among people who have faced adversity and dealt with it in positive ways. You will select an historical event where people were challenged to learn from the past when facing adversity. Read two different accounts of this event from the viewpoints of two different survivors. (For example, you may want to compare the exp of two people, as in the novel Night, who lived through a World War II. One account could be from a person living in Euro who survived the war, and the other could be that of an American soldier.)
TASK:
1.Select an historical even for the exhibit.
2.Research an historical event and find at least two accounts of the event from differnt people. The accounts may be from any of teh following literary genres: short story,poem,memoir and nonfiction account

Try the US Civil War - You could pick a Union and a Confederate Soldier...Like, at the battle of Shiloh. Or Gettysburg...

Or you could pick a somewhat more 'singular' event, such as Rosa Parks on the bus in Selma - You could pick a white person and a black person and have their opinions - PLENTY of both written out on the 'Net.

Or you could maybe think about Maybe a French Resistance fighter in France during WWII, and a German soldier posted to guard Paris...

Perhaps you could use something from the Spanish Civil War - LOTS written about both sides of that as well.

Or the October Revolution in Russia that brought about the Soviet Union...From a Bolsheviek and a Tsarist point of view - Plenty there too.
