If you wash your hair that much it sounds like your scalp just produces oil very quickly, so you'll probably just have to deal with having oil in your hair rather than try to keep it out.

This might sound funny... but I do this when I haven't showered in a while... not like I'm dirty or anything! Anyways when my hair is oily I fill it with tons of hair gel or hairspray. This dries the hair into a shape that doesn't look oily. Because oil makes little strands of hair stick together in this really specific way, and makes it look almost wet but not quite... Hair gel or spray messed with the shape and look of oily hair and tricks people into not recognising that it's oily, if you do it right.

Also, when hair is light-coloured, oil is MUCH less obvious than it is in dark hair. So if you bleach your hair a little, especially if you get some highlights, it will also make your hair look alot cleaner. Notice how people with blonde hair and highlights NEVER look like they have oily hair?

I have a simular problem but my hair is thick and blondish/brown. Something that works for me is apple cider vinegar. Yes I said apple cider vinegar!! Don't let the vinegar part put you off. The cider removes lots of the build up and restores PH levels to your hair. It also makes the best conditioner. Use a good shampoo and rinse, then dilute half a cup of cider in water and pour over hair. Let it say there for a minute or so then rinse. No need to use anything use. It will feel a little funny and smell a little like vinegar but when you brush through with a wide toothed comb and dry it you will have the softest cleanest hair ever and it doesn't smell at all! If you don't believe me google "apple cider vinegar hair" and you see lots of info. Try it and see.

never ever use 2 in 1 products because they are not good for your hair and try to add mousse to get rid of the oily look or try a new hair style that always works.
