Yes its definitely worth it. Vista is by far the best operating system on the planet but for some reason some people dont like it for no reason.

Its funny i have vista and i never had any bugs or problems with viruses or spyware and so forth. Its a strange world we live in.

To be undemanding no count if that's a good deal get it Vista isn't all that undesirable. I equipped a working laptop or laptop with Vista and have not had any compatibility issues yet. For the needs your stating that's going to artwork purely advantageous. I run Adobe layout top rate CS3 in this gadget which includes Photoshop. i might make certain this computing device has a minimum of two Gig of mem or a minimum of is upgradeable to that.

From what i've heard the new features of Vista are pretty impressive. But on the other hand it is riddled with bugs and security issues. You should probably stick with XP, at least until they release the first service pack for Vista.

vista has problems but they will eventually work it all out in time but right now the biggest problem they are having is compatibility with 3rd party developers (ie games, and disks that come with printers, cameras, and others)

but i totally hate vista its the exact same thing as XP except it just looks pretty so ignore all the razzle dazzle. it really isnt any safer from viruses, spyware, adware and it has a stupid security feature that askes for your permission about EVERYTHING and i eventually just turned it off on everybodys computer that has it cause they said it got on their nerves.

i would say go Mac but if you dont like them or dont have any experience with them then go Vista

Vista has a lot of bugs and security issues now. Personally, I would wait a few months and let the issues sort themselves out. It might be risky using Vista now, so I say abstain from it.

Until the bugs are worked out I would stick with XP. I didn't upgrade to XP until sp2 came out for it.

Well looking at the answers (which I agree with) I think Microsoft has some work to do!
