The man is stale on the mic and in the ring, he relies an awful lot on resthold (mainly chinlocks) and he's never had a classic 4 to 5 star match even when he goes up against guys like Taker, Angle and Misterio. People are always on his nuts, but the fact is he puts people to sleep in every one of his matches.

Hell, he couldn't even get any heat when he was mocking Hogan and it was HULK Freakin HOGAN!!

I agree, he's been completely overrated since he got into the WWE. He had some fire in him when he started out and was simi entertaining when he was out with his shoulder injury and was doing his update, but it seems to be that Vince McMahon has lost faith in him, thus the Randy Orton Experiment seems to be over for the time being. He hasn't won a singles match in about 5 months now that I can recall off hand (until this next Monday) and in the tag matches, he's usually the guy who gets pinned. He's usually boring on the mic and inside the ring, he's almost as bad. He does rely on rest holds, stomps and knee drops. The biggest reason is probably his attitude. He got busted for smoking weed in the back and was placed on 90 days suspension. They brought him back after 60, put him in a high profile short term feud with Kurt Angle and switched him to Raw. Well, they caught him AGAIN in the back and this time did nothing. I think Vince has also figured out Orton can't go on the fly, check him out with the "deer eyes" once Hunter got hurt at NYR. I won't even bring up the Amy Weber and Rochelle Loewen incidents. It's sad because Mick Foley put a lot of effort into him and got him over before the Triple H thing, which was wrong no matter how you look at it. Then again what do you expect from someone who went AWOL (twice) from the Marine Corps, disobeyed an order from a commanding officer and then was dishonorably discharged from them.

I think that there are some good and bad points about Randy Orton.

He does act a bit too cocky, which can sometimes come across in his matches which make them less beleivable. And I do beleive that he does rely on resthold too much.

I do however like his Legend Killer gimmick and contrary to what you say, I do think that he generates quite a bit of heat from the fans.

His mian problem is he lacks charisma and mic skill. His charisma is non existant and his mic skills do need a bit of work. But I still think he has the potential to be a really decent wrestler.

He is a bit. But compared to Cena, Orton is more deserving of his recognition. He's young. He was the youngest Heavyweight champion ever. He has a good gimmick as a legend killer. And he has quite a bit of charisma in terms of a heel. He also has an okay move variety. I'd say get off his case for now, but don't start jumping on his bandwagon until he is a legitimate #1 contender for the championship.

RAndy Orton is one in all my favourite wrestlers yet i do would desire to admit that frequently he's fairly overvalued. he's dealt with so noticeably, he has ted and cody as his slaves(wish for not) and he has the titles a super kind of the time. in line with possibility hes not the main overvalued because of the fact i will think of of another ones who're overvalued yet randy can each and every now and then be an overvalued action picture star.

so true. i think they want him to be big but i just dont think he has it in him. he knows the business cuz of his dad but him as a person....hes just not likable. hes not good on the mic and it seems like the same thing every match hes in. i really cant recall any awesome match hes been in.

Definitely overrated. He needs a lot of work to get up to real main event status.
