I'm not sure if he OWNS Simmy, but Simmy was a monkey that Pete chapparoned at the 2006 MTV VMAs.

If you saw pictures of him with a monkey that was at the
Music Awards ( I think) and he brought the monkey with him.
He does not own the monkey it belongs to someone else.
