If I were you, I'd boil water in the pot pour it out (outside) and boil water again and pour it out. That will melt the wax. You might have to do it several times. Don't pour it down the drain, you could stop up your drain.

Boil water in the pot, the wax will melt and float to the top in a thin layer. Let cool, remove wax and then clean off the little that remains on the side of your pot.

it's never going to be completely clean. Heat the pot without the water(not too high). Keep wiping the wax with a soft absorbent cloth until its gone.

The wax should come out fairly easy if you put the pot in the freezer for about a half hour. It should pop right out.

Earwax is made contained in the outer ear canal. that is the area between the fleshy area of the ear on the exterior of your head (the area you are able to discover) and the middle ear. the exterior contained in the outer ear canal has particular glands that produce earwax. the flamboyant call for this waxy stuff is cerumen. After the wax is produced, it slowly makes its way through the outer ear canal to the hollow of the ear. Then it both falls out or is bumped off once you wash. In maximum folk, the outer ear canal makes earwax each and each of the time, so the canal continuously has sufficient wax in it.

Put it in the freezer for a bit. The wax will pop right off. Works well if you have a tart burner too.

they are both right freeze and heat , BUT freezing it will isolate the wax making it easier to chip and discard heating will melt the wax cause it to go into the pores of the metal . " i" would freeze first then melt use a paper towel to wipe excess ?

pour boiling water in it and rinse it out. Do this several times and then don't ever clean a candle holder in your pan again, just run very hot water over it.
