Those 8-9 matchups are DIFFICULT to pick!
Marquette over Michigan state. I could list many reasons, but I'll put it like this... Dominic James > Drew Nietzel. Period.
Arizona over Purdue. Arizona has more offensive firepower and the Pac-10 plays better ball than the big ten.
Villanova over Kentucky (barely). Scottie Reynolds tips the scales for me on this one. Sumpter is a gamer, too. Far superior to Randolph Morris.
BYU or Xavier? I dunno. Tough to call this one, honestly. I think Xavier is in over it's head with this tournament, but I don't know much about BYU. I will probably be picking BYU.

Marquette will definetly take care of Michigan state. Arizona is very talented and will beat Purdue.I`m basis here because i am a Kentucky fan...I do think they can sneak by Villanova.Xavier shouldn`t be there it should be Syracuse but they are more athletic than BYU. I hope i was of assistance to you.

arizona will beat purdue- arizona has more overall tallent purdue just has one good player=landry
kentucky will murder villanova kentucky is a deep team and morris is a superstar
