As a sparky working heavy industrial installation and breakdowns I'm quite often under the pump. I always get my days quota of work done, I don't stop until it's finished. But....if I have time left over I certainly don't look for more. That's why we play hide and seek when we've finished.
SO I guess yes and no. But I never leave my work unfinished either.

Yes, I feel like I always give 150% at work. In the office where I work, there are quite a few that sluff off and are only there to collect a paycheck., and I usually end up picking up their slack. I recently became a lead clerk in the office, and I feel like I earned it because I am an honest, hard worker. Besides, when I give my best it really makes me feel good about myself.

Yes I am a strong believer in doing the best job I possibly can whatever it may be. I have always had a strong work ethic.

I always try to do the best job possible. Especially with teaching, I need to set a good example for my students.

I don't do any hard work anymore, but my wife does, if it weren't for her we would starve, shes a good worker and I can't complain, just wish that I could do more to help her

In mine line of work, I have to give 110%, thats why I don't like my job, but it pays well.

I used to, kind of... when they treated me well... but now I'm studying which is SOOOOOOO much better than working, life is good : )

my work is seasonal...sometimes it's busy and most of the time it's not
but when it's really busy, i work my but* off longer than i am really asked for
