May not be possible the way you are thinking about it. For instance, I have little motivation to do a lot of things. However, if that thing, or something, helps another person I will do it. Example, I will not mail my own bills, but I will prepare and mail my girlfriends bills. Once I figured that out I started to use it to ‘motivate’ myself. Still doesn’t work if I’m the only one affected, but if there are other people I always do it. So think about the times when you do do things, and try to apply that scenario to other events.

Motivating yourself isn't easy at first, but once you do you'll be glad you did. This brings about a rise in self-esteem, which then motivates you further.

do stuff you really care about and you won't have to worry about motivation
