I reformatted my hard drive, and I lost all my colors except for 16 bit color. I want my true color and all of them back. Can you help me find my colors?

You need to upgrade the VGA driver to support these settings. You will need to know your VGA type (card slot or motherboard), Manufacturer and model.
Then download the appropriate drivers and install them.

Right-click on any empty spot on desktop, choose Properties; this has all that can be configured by the current display driver Windows is using; one of the tabs; last one, containing colouring; if true 32-bit (or 24) colour is not in the drop-down menu you have to reinstall the driver disc that your video card has, then try again after that driver install and active.

Can you adjust it with a right click on the desktop and going down the menu to "properties" and under the tab "settings"?

To adjust the colour, click the little down arrow and select your desired colour depth.

If not you will have to install your video drivers.

Start - Control Panel - Display - Settings.

That should allow you to set your monitor to true color.
