If you are reffering to the problem at Walter Reid, you need to realize that the Veterans Health Care System is different from the Military system. I have used the Veterans Administration Medical system since 1980, and I have nothing but praise for them. When I was homeless and dyeing on the streets, tha VA system was the only ones willing to help me. Now, the problems with Walter Reid, is a reflection of have the Army treats its people. Once you get away from the FOB's and front limes, they treat people like dirt that are on medical status. This is a fact. The other branches, do an excellent job with their members.

Veteran's hospitals have been sub-par for as long as I can remember and most people didn't give a crap. Now it's front page news, but sorry, it's a very old and very sad story. I just hope the negative p/r will facilitate change. Our vets deserve better.
