it means you shouldn't waste your time and effort on looking for luck. you should be out making things happen.

1. People don't want to admit that you're smarter than them, so they call it luck when you succeed.
2. Many men believe that luck will just hit them, so they won't seize opportunities, because they're waiting for something better.
3. We cannot say that our enemies can succeed on their own without being hypocritical, so we must blame it on luck, hence believe in luck.

1.People wouldn't accept that you are more sensible, and attribute your relative superiority to luck, not to your ability.
2.Do not waste time for luck to come to you. Seize the opportunity presents before you and you would succeed.
3.We think that our failure is only due to the good fortune of our enemy.

They are all variations of "There's no such thing as luck." or "You make your own luck." That is, chance plays no part on who is rich or famous or powerful. That's because no one cares or hears about the people who are "failures" and how they compare to those who "made it."

people will try to explain how stupid they are by saying that your smarts are because of luck, not brains (third one)
