I'm a 24 y.o. African-American/Back woman living in Sevilla, Spain teaching English. I've been here for a few months already, but it seems that the few Spaniards who were interested in me were almost twice my age, and I'm an attractive girl, not a total hottie, but cute enough. Where are the guys from my generation?
Also, I know that there are nowhere near as many minorities/different ethnic groups in Spain as there are in the US, so what is the general consensus on interracial dating in Spain? Is it taboo or excepted?

We (Hispanic men) love Black women.... just as well as White, Native American, Hispanic, African, Chinese and any other group! Has nothing to do with color and everything to do with style, approach, warmth, humor, compassion, intellect and other stuff that doesn't show up as skin color.

Spain is a little different market. Its so "European," which means the usual look is "caucasian." Now if you were in South America, you'd have a suitor on your door step every morning. I don't think its impossible but I just think it would be easier to find a guy in London than in Spain. Why not try out the older dudes and see if any of them have any younger sons? : - )

Sorry to tell you this but the guys in spain are racist, very racist. You could look like naomi campball and you still get the same reaction. I've been to spain and i know people who have lived there the men have been nothing to shout about. However the spansih guys that live in London are not that bad lol.
But i don't know maybe your spainsh romeo is waiting in th mitts.

I dont know about how things are in spain but i don't think there is anything wrong with interracial dating.
