Quite possibly, because then you would not be at each other's throats all the time.
Once you live with the person, you see a whole another side to them. And it is not good.

I've had a great 4 year relationship with my fella, we don't live together all the time. We each have homes, spend time with other friends, and when we are together, it stays fresh. I can recommend it!
