Scary and all too true. You would face the same thing in the same circumstances. Man has always been earth's deadliest predator.

For some reason, I really really liked that book in HS. There was something dark, but inspirational about it. The plot was well written and very closely resembled humankind.....Maybe I should get it and read it again...

they forced us to read that my senior year of high school it took an entire 9 weeks to read those 12 chapters and i can't remember any of if, other than that i hated it and when the movie came out i avoided it like the plague. now 18 years later i still can not stomach the idea of watching it or reading the book again.

Sick and twisted but awsome Im 23 and I read it in elementry school still one of my faverites, despite that the book had so many charecters it was still easy to follow and always kept up on all the charecters almost symutanuosly

It questions our own structure has a supposed civilized race. Given the need we soon turn to strongest fittest survives. Democracy is cast aside in favor of imperialism

It's an alright book, the plot isn't rare, but it's somewhat of a classic.

Oh my God, I hate that book! We had to read it in high school and I protested it, I really hated it. I just thought it sucked, which is rare for me to find a book I don't like.

To tell you the truth, I thought the start was a little dry, but I came to find it disturbingly endearing.
Scary, how truthful it seemed.
