I can't beleive Taylor Hicks won instead of Katharine McPhee, she is amazing, i just heard her song ,"Over It" and i couldn't beleive America chose Taylor Hicks over her. I am so NOT over it.

Her whole CD is great (except track 3 - something about shoes) I don't know anyone who has purchased Taylor's CD. He was a novelty, not a star.

I agree! What was America thinking?! That girl can sing and I've been seeing her all over the TV. What the hell has Taylor Hicks been doing? I think I've seen him once since he's won. and where was that in a freakin' Chevy commercial! Yeah, that was a mistake. Oh well, Katharine's receiving plenty of stardom. So, I guess it really doesn't matter.

I wanted Chris to win. Then when he was gone I was rooting for Kathrine. I refuse to watch American Idol anymore because I was ticked tha Taylor Hicks won (and I lived in AL for years).

Yes, yes, yes! She has a fantastic voice. Every song she sang on AI was amazing. But Jennifer Hudson should have won instead of Fantasia. In my opinion.

yeah me too but look at the bright side eve nthough she did not win american idol she got signed by a record deal and now she is more popular then taylor hicks

there is no way in anywhere that taylor shood have won but i dont think katherine shood either, but she was definatly better than him by a lot. i think chris shooda won

Looking back, overall, the losers and runners up are doing better than the actual winners. (except for Kelly C.)
