I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my ability, preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution of the United States.

not only do they swear to this, all presidents have failed to uphold the constitution. In the constitution it says the military is suppossed to protect the borders, do u see the military on the borders? The few national guard dosen't count, because they can't do anaything to stop illegal activity.

wow sweetness sounds pretty clueless right now......they do have to take an oath before they take office...maybe you should read the question first....

now to answer your question, see everything Bush has done? it's pretty much the opposite of that.

i don't have a real answer, except this...there is no oath of office in the white house, it's oval office moron! you sound real dumb if you don't know what you're talking about.
