If the United States is the melting pot of the world then why do we get upset about foreigners and who is here

Americans are not upset about foreigners coming to America and assimilating...becoming Americans. We're upset about foreigners who trespass here illegally then take what isn't theirs; who refuse to honor the American culture.

It's related to the race of the foreigners - for one thing we speak English - not American, if we did it would have been some form of Native North or South American dialect.
Funny thing - most "white" Americans of European decent get mad about non-English speaking immigrants from South American (thinking all of them come from Mexico) and will presume that because they won't speak English they are most likely illegal aliens - but, won't make that presumption if they were in a city in the US with a high European immigrant community or even if it's an Asian community.

No and I do not think that we should get over it,take a look at where all these people are coming from,next thing you know the U.S.citizens will be having to migrate somewhere else because our country will be like the country's alot of these people come from.

its about how they get here and if they do it legally.

lately they simply transplant themsleves and do not assimilate to the USA ways.
