Depends on a lot of factors!
Like how much money you have and what you actually want for a start ?!?!?
If you are younf and want a nightlife and to meet lots of people and have lots of cash spare then Shoreditch is good. Brick Lane, Hoxton Square, Old Street etc.
If you want a more relaxed life and have loads of money then Wapping.
I live in Hackney which is cheap but good for the arts.

Crystal palace - this is an exceedingly noticeably component of london, a lot of bars and eating places. It used to take me approximately 20 minutes to get into london on the prepare. in case you fancy the bus it takes approximately 40. the only situation is this is obviously on a super hill (from all instructions). it rather is on the factor of Bromley that's super for procuring (20mins on the bus - no prepare), and a briefchronic to dulwich (that's plenty greater costly!) the better section in case you have a toddler is the suitable park that has a "dinosaur" section and petting zoo, woodland, fields, paths (in case you have a buggy!) and each year signets which I constantly enjoyed vacationing and feeding! finding on your funds you will get suitable victorian residences for £4 hundred,000 or residences for around £2 hundred,000. I dont recognize with regard to the universities around there nonetheless, there's a lovable toddler in gipsy hill (approximately 5 minutes walk away) yet i don't recognize any further than that. The secondary college little ones that I used to work out weren't precisely the best. I easily enjoyed dwelling there yet we've been renting and whilst our flat began to crumble after the condo expenditures had risen we had to go. So recognize warning, I purely stay 5 minutes down the hill (south norwood) and this is a terrible neighbourhood! in fact the different severe streets between crystal palace and croydon are slightly crummy. i recognize that in case you pick to keep money, the different end of the park has greater victorian residences and is a lot greater low fee, so if its the park that could draw you, you ought to look down there! the different neighbourhood i ought to reccomend is purley (and it rather is adjacent villages) i recognize it has a superb severe highway etc. and is approximately 20 minutes to london too. yet in assessment to crystal palace this is Surrey not London, i don't recognize lots greater approximately it.

My sister used to live in Bethnal Green and really liked it as it was very friendly! Patsy Palmer (Bianca from Eastenders) used to live round the corner from her, and she had money from her acting so it wasn't scummy!
My best mate lives in Walthamstow and is looking to move into her own place but still round there. She shares a gym with Blazin' Squad. Nice.
What a choice eh? Bet you're stuck now...

Anywhere except Tower Hamlets and Bethnal Green. Good God. I worked in a mental health hospital there for a year and wouldn't like to live there.... (no offence to anyone who does!)
Stratford is ok, good shopping centre!
