It is the best thing I could be. The point of religion is to make people better. I feel that I'm a better person than I could be any other way.

Being a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter- Day Saints (aka Mormon) is the best thing that could have ever happened to me. To answer your question, though, I don't exactly "deal" with being Mormon, I'm just glad that I am! Sure, we get harassed sometimes, but this is just usually by people that just don't know or have misconceptions of us. Knowing that this is the true church and having faith helps me to choose the right, especially when others torment us of our beliefs. Actually, most people are ok with or think that it's kind of cool. And I know that my Heavenly Father is always there for me, and that I have good friends and family in the church to support me.

I'm a Mormon and am faced with temptation every day. How do I do it? Well I have come to know the religion is absolutely true. Of course it's not that simple, I have to make decisions every day. Praying and studying the scriptures help. It also helps to really observe other people and their vices. For example people who smoke are controlled by a 3" stick that causes cancer. People who drink coffee are dependant on that drink to make it day by day. People who are immoral, become addicted to the rush of sensual feelings.

When you keep the commandments and directions of the Lord, you are free from addictions. You have a clear mind and are able to go through life with a better attitude.

The way I do it: God sustains me.

Not that tough. It's like being anything else, e.g. a Buddhist, Catholic, Jew, etc. I've found amongst professionals and in the bussiness world Mormons are highly respected. There are some beliefs that are difficult to understand, or explain, but for the most part it is more of a good lifestyle.

I need more specifics. What exactly is it that you find hard to deal with?
Many people find it difficult not being able to drink coffee or alcohol, others think we pray too much, while others seem to have us confused with a different religion all together (sometimes the Amish, other times the Mennonites, still other times the Muslims). So, what is it that you want to know?

I'm LDS (mormon) and I have to agree USMC above. Faith is the main factor, and in all reality, life is a lot happier. I control myself, not other things or people. I have know that the Church is true. It isn't "how do I do it", but more like "how can I not?"

Its really not a huge deal...
Most people over do it and assume stuff...
Also people hear rumors that 99% of the time aren't true...
