Is the movie 300 suitable for a fifteen year old girl? (namely, me.) I don't mind violence very much - not really when it's used to supplement historical content.

It had a little sexual stuff but, yes, an intelligent and stable 15 year old should be able to handle it just fine. I think you will appreciate the artistic nature of the film, the look of it, almost like a poster or painting come to life.

But it was a heroic tale and had plenty of action. Even the music was very good.

Normally I don't think kids need to see that type of thing. But the violence is not graphic at all compared to modern films. There is minimal gore for the amount of violence. The sexual content is even very minimal.

If you feel you can handle it, then it's a great movie to see. If you've seen Gladiator or Braveheart, those are *much* more violent and gory than this is.

There are scenes of violence i have never seen in a movie before. Graphic depictions of beheadings and legs and arms being chopped off. When I say it leaves nothing to the imagination, it really doesnt. There is a lot of fighting and death in this one. However, it didnt make me leave the theatre thinking it was over the top. I went to see it because of Gerard Butler, but, I liked the movie. It was good.

First of all I took my two 8 year old daughters with me to watch this wonderful movie. One fell asleep, however the other fell in love with it. Yes it has a few racy sexual scenes, but nothing too graphic. This movie was GREAT!!! I feel your daughter would be fine with it. My daughter loved Lord of The Rings, and hands down agreed that 300 was 10x better. Of course historically it is more Hollywood, but the overall message the 'real' Spartans were trying to convey was made. GO SEE IT!!!

I believe that it is a suitable movie for a 15 year old girl. Most 15 year old girls are more mature than I am sometimes but sure I don't see why it wouldn't be.

I don't see why not. The violence and gore are rather tame compared to other contemporary films, both period and modern. It's comic book violence aka Batman or Superman. You don't even see anything in the sex scenes either.

However, you may need someone older to go with you since some places card you for R films and others don't.

Yes, it's suitable for you, if you are indeed an intelligent and stable 15 year old girl. And you seem like one.

But not most 15 year old girls, because most 15 year old girls are neither intelligent nor stable. They'd be doing the whole "like, oh my gaawwwd, like, whatever, that is like, soooooooooo grosss!! ewww!" Whenever there are some graphic scenes.

Then when they show the men dressed in their traditional garb, 15 year old girls go "like, whoa, dude, like, his outfit is like soooo totally not in. that is like so last year. ewww!!"

Then they'd be focusing on Gerard Butler instead of the storyline "like, ohmygaawwwd Stacy, like Gerard Butler is like soooooooooooooooo hawwwt! He is like soooooooooo cute! Like Jennifer, I would like so totally date him"

It should be unless she is easily influenced by things, which it doesn't seem like it when she(you are stable). I say go fot it if you want to see it.=)
