If one looks back over Tony Blair's time on any stage Tony has always made it appear that he listen 's to us (ordinary common volk). Tony then however has gone on his own way doing Tony's own thing (whatever that my be).

The trouble is that they are all the same . In power in control and do not care about the puplic. Yes we vote them in , but if no one voted then what ? . They are not aware what we the people whant , they look but don't see, they listen but don't hear. They " the system " govenment / local Councils etc. should do as the people want to a point. If they did Hanging whould be brought back / Road pricing whould be a subject forgotten / life in prison whould be life not weeks / etc.

do you really think any political party listens to the people who vote them in?
do you really believe that David Cameron would continue to hug all those trees if he got into office?
they only listen to you for a little window of 5 months or so when an election is on the cards and then they go back to doing whatever the hell they want after it's all over.

Power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutley.
he thought that was cool and went for it.
He is a very rich socilalist so why should he give a damm, his next job will be the president of Europe (without the UK in it as we are now hacked off with this EU RUBBISH)
Scary thing is we do not have any polititians at present who seem to be listening to the voters

Why should he care, he's milking this job for all he's worth and probably arranging for nice lucrative little joblets after he leaves power. Whoever heard of listening to the people?

He believes he has a divine mission to destroy our democracy and creat a Socialist State of Britain, as a model for the rest of Europe.

No. With his kind of champagne socialism he his too far above the rank and file, (the masses) to listen to 'ordinary people'.

I doubt it he is not in touch with reality he suffers from what I call the Hollywood syndrome he believes his own publicity.
