I think it is a bad idea. The network is just trying to build another hit show based on the laurels of another. Addison's character was interesting when she first appeared on Grey's anatomy...but just where do they intend to go? She ISN'T getting back her husband... she DOESN'T like her boyfriend... and there are only so many younger guys she can sleep with (like Karev) before I'm tired of it. LOL

Yeah, Kate Walsh (the actress who plays Addison) is getting her own spin-off. Personally, i'm not happy with it. Just because i'm a Addison/Alex (a.k.a. Addisex) fan, and since Addison will leave, the chance of those two getting together is pretty small. :(
Anyways, it's exactly because Addison doesn't contribute much to the show now (which i disagree with but it's sorta the truth) that she's getting her own spin-off. I guess Shonda (the creator of the show) doesn't have any good storylines for Addison anymore.
The pilot for Addison's spin-off is supposed to also be the Grey's season 3 finale. They're gonna see how the show does and maybe they'll pick it up. I don't see how they'll base it though. I mean, if it's gonna be an episode of Grey's, then of course the ratings will be skyrocking. I guess they'll have to check the feedback and stuff from the viewers. I hope the show won't last long and that Addison can return to Seattle Grace. But that's just me. :)

it will merely be a waste of time i will watch an episode or jus the 1st 5 min of it as i did with joey besides the actuality that addison's character is plenty greater mature if we forget a number of her "blunders" a minimum of she acts as an outstanding well being care expert i agree that the season finale is rather undesirable, i hated it , the could desire to've had a happier ending ,some sort of closure or exciting beginning up for next season . it made me experience that gray's anatomy season 3 replaced right into a waste of time when you consider that each thing ended anyhow.

Bad idea. they patterned Addison after Meredith making her an older version of Meredith. They are teaming her up with Taye Diggs to dourt the black audience, but let's face it she is a pediatric surgeon. That does not sell a show like heart or brain surgery does. I can see the pilot doing good but the reviews doing bad.

I saw that article too. I don't think that she should have her own show, I mean, she's a great actress on Greys, but, if they had to choose someone off of Grays to have their own show they could choose someone else, like Meredith or Izzy. Off course there are awesome guys that could have their own show, too! Like Alex or George.

I heard that too. Her show may turn out OK, but she certainly IMO has not done anything notable on Grey's Anatomy. She is probably a good actress but if this is a spin-off, I don't get it.

Yes she is getting her own spinoff that is supposed to be starting in May. I don't think it will be successful, I have no intention of watching it. I personally don't like her on the show, so of course I'm not interested in the spinoff.

I think she is very pretty, talented and an innovator (the salmon scrubs) and I would definitely watch her show. I hope (McSteamy) Mark Sloan goes with her.
