All right enough of the hub bub there is only one true winner in this category. It is Tie Domi. Tie has gone nose to nose with everyone mentioned previously. He may have lost a couple but he won the majority.Him and Probert was probably one of the best fights ever.

I love this question, it comes up every day. Here are the best results

Best all time:
Heavyweight - Bob Probert
Middleweight- Joey Kocur
Lightweight - PJ Stock

Nowadays
Georges Laraque

Go to youtube and type in those names and you will see why. The best one to watch is PJ Stock as the man is fearless. Listed at 187lbs he stood toe to toe with the Heavyweights

Donald Brashear is the toughest guy to fight in the NHL because he doesn't let you get a shot in, he is very difficult and also very tough to knock down.

A tie between Georges Laraque and Donald Brashear.....did you see the(Brashear)one punch K.O. on the Isles' Brandon Witt?........8,9,10.....Yer Out!!!! I know there was a little acting on Witt's part, but players fear Brashear and Laraque.

Laroque present day and probably I would have to say Peter Worrell from the past. I do think that "who is" the best would mean that he means just that. If he meant the past, he would have said "who was" or who is the greatest ever.

Best now is Georges Laraque. Best of all-time...go to youtube and look up Terry O'Reilly.
