Sims 2 PC, They Keep Calling!?

Question

Why do all of my friends keep calling me nonstop? Right after I hang up, another one calls saying I'm not keeping in touch. It doesn't end! I was doing the Shift + Click on the Mailbox, maybe I hit something by mistake?

Ugh. That annoys me to no end... from what you're saying, I'd have to assume you either a) naturally made a bazillion friends, or 2) did a boolprop cheat and gave yourself every friend in the game. The game automatically has your sim's friends call you randomly to chat, so when you have a bunch of them the randomness factor in the calling becomes almost zero, so you have nonstop phone calls. Unless your sim truly NEEDS a bunch of friends for work, I'd suggest taking out the phone for a while until your relationships dwindle down (once friends are "lost", they tend to stop calling as often) and when you need the phone for something, buy a new one, use it, then delete it when you're done to get the money back.

throw a big party and get on better terms with your friends then they won't bother so much, but if you neglect them they'll call you and ask what the deal is.

it's hard to keep lots of friends in the Sims2, just like in real life! haha!

another option is to spend some time with 1 sim a day and get your friendship up high so it doesn't go down for a long time

this happened to me when i used the mailbox hack and made everyone my friend, what i did was delete my phone from the house until it finally stopped, then put the phone back in.

yea...........that happened 2 me b4...........i needed 2 know more ppl to move up in my career so i did that.........u most have click on make friends for me or make me know everyone...........i wish i knew how 2 make them stop
