Harry Potter and The Goblet of Fire by JK Rowling because it's such a masterful story and, personally, I feel that it's the heart of the series(even though it's not finished...). Second would be The Perk of Being A Wallflower by Stephen Chbosky. I've read it every 2 years and the simplcity yet depths of the characters always amaze me. It's like revisiting friends.

For me, "Satan: His Psychotherapy and Cure" by Jeremy Leven. The book changed my life. It is about Satan returning to earth in the form of a computer, ruining a psychologist's life because Satan wants him for psychotherapy. The book is as funny as Catch-22 or Rabbit. Leven directed the movies "Creator" and "Don Juan DeMarco," among others.

Harry Potter and Inkspell. I reread these cause the plot was a little confusing the first time around and these were two wonderful books.

"Writing Down the Bones" by Natalie Goldberg. I write poetry and short stories, and am working on a novel. Whenever I get stuck or frustrated by the process, this book has something to inspire me and get my pen moving again.

"The Lord of the Rings."

I've read it seven times, cover to cover (to cover . . .), with the Appendices.

Back in the days when I still had time to read for leisure.

Not so keen on "The Hobbit," and "The Sil." was a real disappointment after waiting for its publication for 10 years.

But the trilogy hit me just right, at just the right age.
